Helping people find more peace of mind.

The Mindfulness Gym was formed with a simple yet ambitious vision in mind. We want to help people find more peace of mind. We’re for the ones that are struggling with their mental health. We aim to help people who are chronically depressed or anxious reclaim control over their lives through implementing new strategies to face issues head on.

Our mission is to educate and empower people who want to make a change in their mental health.

When you have a visit with me expect me to be warm, calming, genuine, humorous and collaborative. I will walk with you in noticing your present and past challenges and together we will explore ways to move forward and ultimately achieve your higher goals. My goal is to help you in understanding the root causes of problematic patterns and unhelpful thinking; and to develop stronger awareness and regulation of our emotions through building healthy coping skills. Two therapeutic philosophies I stand by are the concepts that our mood follows our behavior and that in order to find balance in our lives we must learn how to move between accepting reality as it is and changing ourselves in the hopes of better outcomes. I believe that the most important component of a working therapeutic relationship is the ability to trust and be honest with your therapist. I aim to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable in exploring your concerns. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your personal goals toward feeling well again.

I am passionate about helping others increase insight on how experiences shape us so we can show up for ourselves and our relationships fully. I have spent my career exploring how adversity and trauma impacts our development, relationships and emotional selves. Using an integrated approach, my sessions assist clients in unpacking how our patterns of experiencing and responses are rooted in our history. Discovering this key knowledge together empowers us to do the difficult work of adapting change so we can achieve an optimal quality of life. My therapeutic focus has also extended to providing relationship therapy with the goal of bringing insight and guidance to the intricacies of connection. Supporting couples and families in unblocking barriers to repair, connection and grow this a focus I care deeply about in relational work.

Our future endeavors

Our goal

Many of us have memberships to fancy fitness centers that help us keep our bodies conditioned. But what if there was a gym for your Mental Health? A place to learn to calm the mind. To open the body. To feel connected, free from stigma.

Our goal is to build that gym and change the way we think about mental health for good.

But we’re not quite there yet. This journey has only just begun.

Our vision

Our vision is to offer a wide range of services to promote mental wellness. We’re starting with one-on-one counseling, though endeavor to expand into other avenues as we help more and more people.

Some of these additional services may include guided meditation, expressive dance meditation, yoga, group therapy and float tanks.

We’re more than just a therapy practice. We want to be a one-stop “Gym” where everyone can recalibrate their mind and body.
